Dinner, Drinks, and Dancing - Downtown St. Pete
Saturday, March 21, 2026
Enjoyed a nice dinner followed by a night out exploring new places in downtown St. Pete.
Tiki Docks
The night started at Tiki Docks for dinner. I tried a Lava Flow (piña colada with banana & strawberry) right on the water while we waited for our table and it was very tasty and pretty. Then I asked for a Piña Colada with mango and they created it for me, also delicious and I love that you can customize. They have other fun drinks including one that comes with a rubber pink flamingo to take home.
To eat I started with the Queso Blanco Dip with creamy jalapeño queso with guacamole, pico de gallo, and cilantro, served with freshly seasoned tortilla chips which was good since the food was taking a while to come out, they were definitely busy.
For my meal I got the Chilled New England Lobster Rolls which came with 2 toasted New England-style lobster rolls tossed in lemon herb aioli, a side of crinkle fries, and coleslaw. The lobster was very light since it wasn't a thick & creamy dressing like you often see. Plenty of food and tasty.
Others enjoyed the Chipotle Shrimp Tacos and Blackened Grouper Tacos which both had a creamy coleslaw, avocado crema, cotija cheese, chipotle aioli and cilantro but the grouper tacos also had pickled red onions. They came with 3 served in corn tortillas and cilantro lime rice & beans as a side.
Trailer Daddy
After dinner we headed downtown to check out the new Trailer Daddy. They had lots of fun drinks like the Porch Pounder (peach vodka, coconut rummer, grenadine, pineapple & cranberry) which comes in a flamingo cup you can take home. It was sweet but good for me.
Another fun looking drink that others tried was M'urica (Red, White, & Berry vodka, lemonade, and a Bomp Pop!) served in a red solo cup.
The decor is trailer park with lots of fun photo ops. They had a good DJ playing songs for the millennial crowd with lots of singing & dancing.
Dublin Drop
The last stop was another new place called Dublin Drop which has 10 variations of the classic shot. I tried the Your Big Day which had Guinness, birthday cake whiskey, Shanky's whip, and Merry's white chocolate cream and was very tasty and easy to drink/chug.
