Keel Farms Blueberry Festival - Plant City

Sunday, April 19, 2026

I always try to get together with my mom and grandma at least once a month and this month they came out my way to check out the Keel Farms Blueberry Festival. We have enjoyed picking blueberries in the past and thought we would try out a new place close to my new home. The day we chose to go they didn't have blueberry picking open but that was ok because they had a big market full of local vendors for shopping and lots of blueberry food & drinks to enjoy.

I started with a blueberry moscato wine to sip while I shopped, very sweet & tasty. I sampled some jams and spreads and purchased a Vidalia onion relish from Black Sheep Mountain Gourmet.

The Rolling Pin's cookie flavors caught grandma's eye and we shared a mini cookie flight of 3 which included banana pudding, cosmic brownie, and chocolate chunk.

I bought some sour gushers from Sugar Stix, a blackberry sangria scented soy wax candle from Adalfie Home, and some fresh jalapeno cheddar sourdough.

After all the shopping we had worked up an appetite and shared the blueberry ricotta flatbread (blueberry ricotta cream, arugula, balsamic-glazed onions, and prosciutto) and blueberry brie grilled cheese (blueberry compote & melted brie cheese on sliced sourdough, served with fries). Both were tasty and I would get again.

After eating we took a photo op by their iconic truck, walked by the petting zoo, and headed home.

I highly recommend a visit, it was a great way to get out of the house, support local businesses, and try some tasty treats.
